Beer and Brewing Conclave, which is slated to take place on April 10 and 11, 2019, and organised by Brewer World, will debut at the Bengaluru leg of drink technology India (dti), the annual showcase of beverage, dairy and liquid food processing industry, which will take place at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre between April 10 and 12, 2019. The southern city will make its debut as the host of dti this year.

The trade fair, which will be organised by Messe Muenchen India and co-located with PackPlus South 2019, will bring together top game-changers and innovations under the beer and brewery sector for a comprehensive discussion. This will help the industry to improve the quality of raw materials and ingredients, global trends in beer and setting up a new microbrewery.

It will be held twice during odd-numbered years – in spring in Bengaluru and in winter in New Delhi. Mumbai will remain the meeting place for the industry during even-numbered years.

Bhupinder Singh, chief executive officer, Messe Muenchen India, said, “Alternating between Bengaluru, New Delhi and Mumbai, dti now has excellent coverage of the south, north and west of India. Beverage and liquid food have become important for many industries, and we want to offer knowledge and value to our visitors through our supporting programmes.”

This year at the show, trade visitors can expect to meet over 80 exhibitors who will be showcasing various sectors like soft drinks, beer and brewery equipment up to liquid food and dairy processing.

Over 4,000 trade visitors from all over India, especially from the south, are expected to attend the trade fair. The leading companies exhibiting at dti 2019 include Goma Engineering, National Polyplast, Spectraa Technologies, Newamstar and DVKSP.

In addition to the Beer & Brewing Conclave, the event will feature place2beer and Buyer Seller Meetings, where top buyers looking for specific technologies or solutions network with exhibitors face-to-face.

The second edition of place2beer – the meeting place for beer lovers – is a dedicated special exhibition area to experience, experiment and interact with brewers, beer lovers and everyone that has anything to do with beer.

The visitors can indulge in discussions on important topics trending in the brewing industry, gain knowledge and network with peers. Besides this, the visitors can try different beers, including several specialty beers and rarities, free of charge.

The Buyer-Seller Forum, which has been a huge success in the previous editions, will be held in the exhibition hall. Buyer-seller meetings are designed to allow exhibitors and top industry managers to hold detailed talks. Leading buyers from segments such as soft drinks, beer and brewery, liquid food, and wine, will be present.
